Agents in the diamond and jewelry business travel around the world, carrying large and extremely valuable property on their person or bag. They lack protection and are prey for robbers and kidnappers. Recently we have witnessed an increase of attacks on these agents around the world, resulting in robbery, injury and even death.
The ISPS course for diamond and jewelry agents is designed to prevent bodily injury and loss of property. The 3 day course covers the following topics:
-
Tools for early detection and preventative behavior
-
Study behavioral patterns of the thieves
-
Analysis of training videos and surveillance videos of real robberies caught on film
-
Preparation for a journey; creating a plan to be followed during the travel period
-
Simulations and responses
Theoretical study meets practical training; simulations in the field are tailor made to each agent's needs. Results of each exercise are analyzed, and each student receives recommendations to improve their personal protection and how to better secure the valuables.
The ISPS course is conducted by a team of skilled instructors and in small group settings; this is done to maintain efficiency and thoroughness. Throughout the first year of course completion, ISPS provides the course participant with a monthly report of robberies, and an analysis of the occurrences. In addition, the course provides each student a membership in ISPS Members Club, which entitles the agent 24 / 7 access for all inquiries - routine and/or emergency.
The ISPS course saves insurance companies large sums of money per year, and more important - It Saves Lives.
